Adopt A Family For Christmas 2016

Posted on November 1st, 2016.

Adopt A Family

The Adopt A Family campaign provides gifts for homeless families in the Providence House Program. Your gifts bring joy to all during the holiday season!

 Here’s how easy it is:

GUIDELINES PLEASE DELIVER GIFTS BY: Monday, December 12, 2016.

  • Please do not wrap gifts but include wrapping supplies [paper, bags, bows, ribbon, & tags] with your gifts.
  • Please drop off gifts to Providence House Donations Center Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
  • Securely tag each unwrapped gift with the family number.
  • If the gift is undesignated, tag it with the age and sex of an appropriate recipient.
  • Provide Providence House with a list of the gifts purchased for each family member. This will help avoid duplication as we add undesignated gifts, which arrive from Christmas parties, exchanges, etc.
  • If you have taken a family’s list and then find that you cannot provide for them, let us know as soon as possible. Please, no later than December 5, 2016.
  • Gift cards make excellent gifts for teens and adults. Please note the amount of the gift card on the card or list of gifts that you submit with your donation. (i.e. Target, Walmart, and iTunes)

  1. I realize that we may be too late to adopt a family but if we have a toy drive in our office, can we still get toys to you. And if so what is your deadline for donations.

  2. It’s not too late to adopt a family Stephen! If you would like to donate toys or adopt a family for Christmas please call (318) 221-7887 and ask for Rhonda Watts. Thanks!
