“You really do make a difference and your gifts allow miracles to happen on Cotton Street.”

The Providence House “Gift Twice Blessed” program is a quick and easy way to honor those on your list and give a lasting gift to a homeless family. With your donation to the Providence House, we send a Christmas Card to each person on your list acknowledging the gift you made in their honor.

We will send each recipient a beautiful, full-color card. Please include a donation of $10 per card.

Kiera, her dad and siblings arrived at Providence House after spending many nights on the streets. Because of your generosity, she and her family now have peace! They have safe shelter, food, clothing, high-quality childcare and above all, love and support. It is so important to us that the community can witness the real faces of homelessness as well as the real impact of your giving. You really do make a difference and your gifts allow miracles to happen on Cotton Street.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  1. Send a minimum gift of $10 per card to 814 Cotton Street, Shreveport, LA 71101 (Attn: Rhonda Watts- Twice Blessed). You can fax your list to (318) 221-7976 or e-mail it to rhondaw@theprovidencehouse.com. Providence House will finish the work!
  2. The Christmas card will be personalized with your name, your company’s name and/or a special message.
  3. The envelope will be hand addressed, the stamp affixed and then mailed in time for the holiday season.
  4. Relax and enjoy the holiday season knowing your gifts will touch your family and friends in a very meaningful way – by helping homeless families with children.
